Nörten-Hardenberg, July 2024. Hardenberg Club Whiskey comes from a company with a history spanning over 300 years. From June 2024, the HARDENBERG DISTILLERY will be expanding the Hardenberg Club range with a triple malt whiskey. The new addition matures in bourbon barrels and is refined in craft beer barrels and barrels made from German Napoleonic oak. It is an excellent addition to the existing Hardenberg Club Straight Whiskeys. The Hardenberg Club Straight Rye and Straight Wheat Whiskey varieties are also receiving a slight design relaunch in order to differentiate the varieties even better.
Hardenberg Club Whiskey – Excellence crosses generations
Hardenberg Club Whiskey is dedicated to traditional craftsmanship, careful production and excellent quality. In Nörten-Hardenberg, Carl Graf von Hardenberg stands for these values. His enthusiasm and drive keep the family's 300-year-old distilling tradition alive. The mash recipes for the whiskey use crops grown on the family property. After distillation is complete, the whiskey is aged in barrels made from oak that are sometimes up to 250 years old. Each of the three Hardenberg Club Whiskeys gets its individual character from the grain used.
New to the club – Hardenberg Club Triple Malt Whiskey
Hardenberg Club Triple Malt Whiskey in the orange bottle design is a blend of 50% Single Malt Whiskey, 25% Wheat Malt Whiskey and 25% Rye Malt Whiskey. The exclusive triple malt whiskey matures in bourbon barrels and is finished in craft beer barrels and barrels made from German Napoleonic oak. On the palate there are intense flavors of dried fruit, chocolate and fresh wood. The finish is malty and warm. Perfect for pure enjoyment or on ice.
Soft relaunch for Hardenberg Club Straight Rye and Wheat Whiskey
As part of the range expansion, the existing Hardenberg Club varieties will be given a slightly different look in the usual color scheme. This will help to distinguish them even more quickly.
Matured in American white oak and refined in German Napoleonic oak and Coopers Reserve, Hardenberg Club Straight Rye Whiskey is created. It is made from 95% malted rye and 5% malted wheat. The nose reveals a fine spiciness with notes of fresh bread, slightly smoky. Vanilla, spices, honey and oak nuances develop on the palate.
Hardenberg Club Straight Wheat Whiskey made from 100% malted wheat is characterized by storage in American white oak barrels and the subsequent finish in port wine barrels and German Napoleonic oak. This gives the whiskey intense flavors of sweet fruits, raisins and a light sweetness of wine - rounded off by nuances of chocolate and fresh wood.
The three whiskey varieties (42.5% vol. each) in the 0.7 l bottle cost 24.99 euros each (RRP).
