Hardenberg-Wilthen AG – Pleasure for over 300 years

Hardenberg-Wilthen AG, the Lower Saxon family business with headquarters in Nörten-Hardenberg and branches in Wilthen and Mainz, was founded around 1700 as the Count of Hardenberg'sche Kornbrennerei.

Fritz-Dietrich von Hardenberg founds the Gräflich von Hardenberg grain distillery

Majority takeover of the brand "The Salmon", which originates from the liqueur factory of the same name founded around 1598 in Gdansk. With the brand, the portfolio was expanded with the brands Original Danziger Goldwasser and the herbal liqueur Kurfürsten

Acquisition of the Wilthener wine distillery, which was founded around 1842, and with it the takeover of the entire Wilthener portfolio, including the strongest brands Wilthener Goldkrone and Wilthener Bergkräuter

Lehment: HWAG takes over the Original Lehment Rostocker family brand, which has been in the sales portfolio since 1990.

Opening of our international business with the partnership of global import brands, for distribution and marketing in Germany.

Construction and founding of the new distillery in Nörten Hardenberg, the HARDENBERG DISTILLERY. In this new distillery, several new products were produced in the same year, such as the KINETIC Single Estate Vodka, the Hardenberg Korn as a new edition and the Beverbach Single Malt Whiskey.

Opening of the new sales branch "Hardenberg Spirits" under whose umbrella brand the entire field service works in FEH/GFG and Ontrade and our online shop.
