Whiskey – A delight to the senses
Original Irish Whiskey must be distilled in Ireland from a mash of malted cereals with or without whole grains of other cereals. The maturation can only take place in Ireland through which this whiskey receives its unique characteristics in color, aroma and taste.
Did you know: The foundation of Whiskey in Ireland and Scotland was laid by Christian monks in the 5th century. They seemed to have received their knowledge about distillation from Arabic sources.
Also interesting to know: While American Whiskey is based on Irish Whiskey, Canadian and Japanese Whisky are based on Scotch Whisky. That’s also why they have the different spelling.
